How to open a PPT file in webbrowser

Hi all,

I can't open a PPT file in a web browser. It's only downloading the file.

Actually I'm using Launch(Link).

Is there any workaround to do it?

Thanks, dKayt

    Hi @dkayt

    You can use this that gets close to the result desired:

    // View Document
    Launch("ms-powerpoint:ofv|u|" & "url_of_the_file.ppsx?web=1")

    // Edit Document
    Launch("ms-powerpoint:ofe|u|" & "url_of_the_file.ppsx?web=1")

    Here you may find more information about it:

    If you have any questions or feedback, please let me know. Have a great day! 😊

    Hi @SpongYe ,

    thanks for replying.

    It doesn't work like expected. It's still downloading the file instead of opening it on the web browser.

    Maybe the file do not allow to open it in a web browser. I have to figure it out.

    Thanks again 🙂

    So, maybe this one can help someone.

    At the end of the link of the PPTX file, I just add this :

    &web=1

    Voilà! Now it's opening in web browser.
    Have fun ^^
