Hello!
I have just published my first Power Virtual Agent chatbot.
Is there a way that I can use the bot and message all users with latest updates?
I tried going through the documentation on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-virtual-agents/advanced-proactive-message?source=recommendations
Within the Teams App, I have installed Power Automate and tried to create a new Flow by creating from blank.
I selected Microsoft Teams and went under Actions to click on Post Message in a chat or channel but I'm facing an error
Is there something I'm doing wrong or is there another way round I can drop a message to all users with the chatbot installed about the latest news and updates?
oi @Erwang868,
If you are going to use the action as I mentioned above, you can put a manual trigger, to trigger the sending of the message.
But remember you need to have the email of the user that has your bot installed, and build a flow to handle in case of error.
See the example below:
Here is the simple flow I created, and the message users would receive in a conversation with the Chatbot

Thanks for clarifying that there's no direct function available on Power Agent app to do this.
I've tried using Power Automate but was facing with the error attached as a screenshot in my original post, that I was unable to select Action without a trigger based on the document link. Did I miss one of the steps? @DiegoPeres
hi @Erwang868,
Natively there is no such function.
In the case when we need to send a message to the users of our bots, we create a flow in Power Automate quoting the desired message, and send it through the access list of the users that have already consumed our bot once, for this we collect this information.
