Using GetBlob Rest API via a custom connector and showing the blob data on powerapps

I am trying to use GetBlob Rest API via a custom connector and want to show the blob(specifically pdf) on a canvas app screen. GetBlob returns the data in a non-readable format. Has anyone achieved this ?

Why you not azure Azure Blob Storage Connector https://learn.microsoft.com/connectors/azureblob/?wt.mc_id=MVP_407574?

It will be more easily for you to do that.

@MichaelFP There is a limitation. I cannot use Entra ID connection to generate URL and download the file. It asks to use SAS URI which my organization doesn't allow.

Currently, the following V2 actions are not supported by Microsoft Entra ID OR Managed identity authentication, as a work around, use the action with an access key authentication:

    1. Create SAS URI by Path (V2)
    2. Get available access policies (V2)

Hi @rohitsbots, when you call your custom connector’s GetBlob action, save its fileContent output into a variable
(for example, Set(pdfData, MyConnector.GetBlob(...).fileContent) ) and be sure that pdfData is a Base64-encoded string of your PDF. If that result isn’t already a Data URI, convert it to a Data URI by doing Set(pdfUri, "data:application/pdf;base64," & pdfData)
then simply assign pdfUri to your PDF Viewer’s Document property. This approach works because the PDF Viewer natively supports both URLs and Data URIs, so you can render the PDF inline without needing temporary files or external hosting making your app simpler and more reliable. For a similar pattern using SharePoint, see "How to Work With Power Apps PDF Viewer Control [With Examples]"

Please give the mentioned solution a try and let me know whether it works for you.
If it solves your issue, feel free to mark this thread as answered.
