Missing dependencies : what does solution="Active" means?

Hi,

I'm struggling A LOT to establish a proper ALM.  I've tried many Xrm Tools and the PowerApp Build Tools with pipeline on AzureDevOps but after more then a month it is still not working.  My solution is so simple, it only has 5 tables and 3 dataflows yet it's been a nightmare to deal with the MissingDependencies and InternalServerError!  VERY stressful and even depressing!

Anyway... I'm sorry I just needed to vent a bit 😞

I managed to fix most missing dependencies but the latest one baffles me.  The dependency mentions only a single component, a table.  The only information it gives is :  solution="Active".  I really don't know what it means and what I can do to fix it.

Does anyone has any idea?

Thanks

Data flows don't deploy easily, so you might want to consider splitting your solution into two such that you can deploy the easy deployable stuff for itself. However, it is getting better.

As for the active solution problem, it is usually because you're missing your connection reference in your solution https://www.google.com/amp/s/d365demystified.com/2020/10/14/there-are-missing-dependencies-install-the-following-solutions-before-installing-this-one-active-connection-references-missing-in-power-platform-solution/amp/

Thanks for your reply.  I will definitly try to split Dataflows into a separate solution.  I'm also planning on adding 2 or 3 Flows... do you think they should be with the main Solution, the Dataflow one, or on their own.

Makes sense for the connection.  I never even realized there was on option to add them to the solution.  I will do it for the Dataflows.  However, I'm not optimistic for the my cma_cohorte dependency since it's only a table (entity) wihtout any related connection... to be continued.

At some point connection references will work as intended and you can have everything in a single solution. Until then I recommend having everything that doesn't use connection references in one solution and flows, canvas apps, dataflows and so on in another solution.
