Modern control - Can't set radio button/Combobox blank

Hello everyone,

I tried to set reset/blank radio button or combobox but I can't do that at all

Is it really impossible to do this now? If I put 'blank' it creates another option with a valueless marking as the image above

I just tested it and it worked
Reset(RadioGroupCanvas1); Reset(ComboboxCanvas1)

Have you use Reset()?

Let me be more specific

When you set defaultselectitems on that fields, for example if I set defaultitems to something for edit, like [varEdit] When it have value, it works fine, but when it's blank, it shows blank item like the image I sent here.

It doesn't just leave the field blank, it creates a 'blank item'
Button is to reset fields
In Items are [1;2;3;4;5], On defaultselecteditems I set, as you can see old radio works fine, but in modern one It doesn't

Im trying to recreate the problem here and so far I don't have the same issue.
I created the variable varEdit:
UpdateContext({varEdit: [1,2,3,4,5]})
Then in my RadioGroupCanvas I have at .Items:
[1,2,3,4,5]
At .DefaultSelectedItems I have set:
varEdit

Now I have 2 buttons want 1 to fill varEdit and 1 to reset RadioGroupCanvas and everything works fine.
Am I missing something?

Thanks for helping

I tried use just local numbers as a test like you, and It really works

But I'm taking gallery item that come from sharepoint, that number come from sharepoint column and It doesn't work

Numbers from that column vary between 1-5, so that varEdit is for edit these numbers as radiocontrol
When DefaultSelectedItems has values It works fine, but when It's blank (for example, when user need to create a new item, not editing) I have that problem

I'm using this code in DefaultSelectedItems [Value(varEditFauna.'Escore corporal')], but I tried different ways and It still not working 😞

Hey @danielchalkley

I made a collection of items, like this (ClearCollect(col_habVoo;["0";"1"; "2"; "3"])) so on DefaultSelectedItems I put LookUp(col_habVoo; Value = default.value), and on On Visible of screen I put reset(radio) to reset the field

It works for me 🙂
