Canvas App - Using 'in' to filter a field based on a collection - SOLVED

Hello

I hope I am able to explain this properly, and so someone can help.  Im at the hair pulling stage.

Canvas App, linked to a SharePoint List (s).

I am filtering a gallery based on a criteria.  The column being filtered is Location.   There is a second table I use for a dropdown that as country, so locations per country.

I am trying to filter the gallery by location, based on the country chosen in the drop down.

I have created a collection with the locations based on the country chosen in the drop down.

What I am unsure about is the syntax to add that to me Filter expression.

Collection:  (is on the onchange property of the drop down).
ClearCollect(colLocationFilter, Filter('PS - Lookups','Location Group' = Dropdown1.SelectedText.Value))

Filter:  (items of gallery)
Filter('PS - Main',  Location in ForAll(colLocationFilter,Location)')

I have tried find, search, to no avail.

Any help please?

Thank you

Stuart

    Hi Stuart, try:

    Filter('PS - Main', Location in ShowColumns(colLocationFilter,Location))

Hi, the in function is not a delegable function. Good to hear your other question is answered! Please mark my post as answered, for other users to easily find the solution.
