Dear all

In a table within an app, users fill a formula with several fields. I would like to calcule the sum of number of working day per month per user and compare it to working day per month excluding weekend and holidays in France.

Below on image the sum formula is used and it is not working.

Anyone to tell me which formula/expression to be used to sum the number of working per user filtering per month ?

How to calculate the number of working day per month excluding holidays and weekend in France?

How to compare both results and display a message to the user if both data is not igual?

Nota: In the first column we have user email.

Thank you

    Salut @Lagloire

Let me understand you well, the table in the app have the total working days record of a user. Do you have a column that store the holidays and weekend in a month? Kindly explain your process well and the column in the table.

    Hi @Tchesco

No, i don't have this kind of column which store holidays and weekend in a month.

Yes, the table in the app have the total working days record of a user. User records every month his number of working in the month per project. For example, project A = 10 days. Project B=12.5 days , project C = 5 days. What is important to do first of all is to sum the number of user working days per month filtering in the month column. Because in the month column, we will have all the month from january to December. So when user will record for november, 1 or more line of working days, i want to get his total number of working day in november somewhere in te screen.

After that, i will need to compare user total working days in the month with the total number of working day in France. And in case of discrepancy, a message should be displayed to let user know that his record is not correct. Example : User total number working days recorded in november is 20. Number of working days in november in France is 21. Message to be displayed in red: Number of working days recorded is not igual to number of working days in France. Please re-check your record.

That's what i want to do. If is still not clear, i can explain more.

    Regards

    Hi @Lagloire

Ok I get you now. My example, here is my DataSource. chrome_ES7CmhxwXk.png

In the DataSource table, TotalWorkingDays is blank. I only populate it when you view in the app. See image below.

For the France holiday, I suggest you input them manually to another separate DataSource.

Let me know if this help.
