classic Work flow vs Power automate flow

Hello, 

 

based on Requirements when to use classic Work flow vs Power automate flow ?

will classic Work flow be deprecated?

    Hi @Shafdev ,

    In general if you are utilizing an asynchronous process (not running real time) then you should now utilize Power Automate Flow vs. Workflow.  I still utilize Workflow many times for real time processing I need to do.  Example, setting a field when I create or update a record with setting the Primary Name field dynamically based on other values as one I do all the time.

    Overall the primary gap with Power Automate at this time is the real-time and this will need to be solved before classic workflows are deprecated.
