Wrapped Power App (iOS App Store) Cannot View SharePoint Videos with Stream Control

Hi everyone,

We’ve built a Microsoft Power App that allows users to view videos stored in SharePoint using the Stream control. We then wrapped and published the app in both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

  • On Android (Google Play) → Users can view the videos without any issue.

  • On iOS (Apple App Store) → Users get a message saying they request access to the video, even though they do have the proper SharePoint/Stream permissions.

So far we’ve checked:

  • Permissions are correct (users can access the videos directly in SharePoint).

  • Issue only happens inside the iOS wrapped Power App.

  • Android works fine.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Is there a workaround to get Stream on SharePoint videos embedded in Power Apps working properly on iOS? Thanks!

It might be the video can not use the current session auth token.
Not sure if you have the Option for 'Allow Tracking' on your iOS device, try to turn it on to see if that help.
    see below reference.

    Thanks for the update.
Can you please check Entra admin center ?
In the monitoring &health, you can check the sign-in log, it will give you more detail information regarding access, and you can combine Power app monitor  to trace what happens when the device access video resource.

Aside from enabling ‘Allow Cross-Website Tracking’ in our application on iOS devices, we also added SharePoint Read access to our Service Principal API permissions, and it worked!
