Hello All,

I want to introduce new input property in PowerApps Grid Control, where I can pass my JSON object and further use it to render the cell based on my requirement in view I tried adding it inside the ControlManifest.Input.xml but it is not reflecting in PowerApps when I am adding PowerApps Grid Control and my customizer control along with the other properties which are already available.

Attaching the snapshot of code from my manifest file.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Components like Grid are developed to maintain good processes and follow PowerPlatform architecture's strategy. I definitely suggest to not edit xml files since it is automatically generated by the platform. If you edit it, you have a huge probability to break something and make your component broken.

If you want to make a custom grid, I recommend you to make a new PCF control to fill your need. Otherwise, you still can build it with components of Power Apps in a canvas app.

    I hope it helps!
