How do I expose or hide screens based on permissions?

I have a requirement to present data to 3 different SharePoint groups. My idea is to create 3 different screens in PowerApps, pulling in the right data that I want to be displayed on each screen. Here is where I am not certain...is it possible to expose one screen to each of my SharePoint groups? That way when each users login to the app, they only see the screen that they have the permissions to see. If this is not possible using SharePoint groups, is there a way to use permissions to expose/hide screens?

Has anyone had any luck doing something like this? I will really appreciate any help/pointers.

Or is there a better way to accomplish showing specific data to specific users?

Many thanks

    Hi @Spawn10 ,

    I will give you the low-tech way as I use it myself.

    I have a master list of all our team staff (I am part of a large company, so AD is not an option) with various flags for permissions.

    At App OnStart, I set a series of Variables based on the flag or value - for instance the person's status (Manager, Supervisor) I have a text field and do this

    Set(vUserName,User().FullName);
    Set(
     vStatus,
     Lookup(
     StaffList,
     StaffName=vUserName
     ).Status
    )

    Then you can test on vStatus to decide screen navigation, show/hide/disable controls etc.

    Hi @Spawn10,

    There are many ways you could achieve this, one way is to use Office 365 security group, look at https://hikmat.noorebad.com/power-apps-controls-office-365-security-group/.

    You can also define a collection and use the same approach in the link to check whether user is part of the collection then show extra controls.

    Hope this helps.
