The requested resource does not support http method 'DELETE'

I created a custom table in the dataverse. Using Postman, I can send a POST just fine with the JSON body and it creates the row. However when I send a DELETE I get, "The requested resource does not support http method 'DELETE'". Anybody know why the endpoint generated by the Dataverse Web API does not support the DELETE verb?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @ebonnett ,

The Web API should support the delete (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/developer/data-platform/webapi/update-delete-entities-using-web-api#basic-delete).

Have you checked the table in the role based permissions to verify you have delete enabled for the table with the role you are executing with on your user?

I will look into what you suggest and report back. Thanks for the response.

I created a role in the power apps admin app. I assigned the app (registered in Azure App Registrations) to the role as that is what I am using to invoke the web service (i.e. I get a token using the client id and secret). Still I cannot DELETE or PATCH. I'm getting a 401, which, since the create is working and DELETE and PATCH are not listed in the Allow and Public response headers, I assume means it's not allowed.
