Hi, i'm trying to get a lookup text input field to work; and i can't seem to wrap my head around why i can't pull any information up on my gallery.

Search('Job Trackings','txtinput-company'.Text,"cr8e4_CompanyName")

I keep getting a this error Name isn't valid. 'Text' isn't regonized. Table 1 .items error; and have tired changing Text to Value can't seem to get it to work. All i'm trying to do is filter down a gallery with a typed in name and eventually add some filter drop downs as well.

Any help would be great; it's part of much larger project and just starting on Power Apps. :)

Gallery / Search Company Look Up

Unfortunately the forum is not letting me see your screenshot--it says it's still being scanned.

I believe in the most recent version of Power Apps you no longer have to reference the Dataverse field by its logical name, you just type in the display name of the column, and it should auto suggest it to you. In fact, for me it will error if I try to reference the logical name on Searches now.
