    Hi @Anonymous ,

Do you want to get Azure AD Directory Users within your canvas app?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I think the Azure AD Connector could achieve your needs. If you want to use Azure AD connector in PowerApps app, you need to have a Azure AD account with sufficient permission.

Please check the following article for more details:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/azuread/

I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:

    4.JPG

Firstly, you need to add the Azure AD connection within your app firstly. Then set the OnSelect property of the "Retrieve" button to following:

    ClearCollect(UserDetail, AzureAD.GetUser(TextInput1.Text))

Add a Data Table, set the Items property to following:

    UserDetail

When you press the "Retrieve" button, the corresponding user detail would be displayed within the Data Table.

    Best regards,

I know this is an old message, but there is a new way to handle this now through a built-in virtual table: Announcing the AAD User Virtual Table – Find and add any AAD user to your records. | Microsoft Power Apps

Using the AAAD user table as a lookup seems to break the dataverse table read in canvas apps.

    1. "Table2" already had a lookup to "Table1"
    2. Add a lookup to the AAD User table to "Table1"
    3. Loading canvas app, "Table2" load throws error: Error when trying to retrieve data from the network

Interesting. Let me look into this.

@dave-jorgensen  does the AADUser lookup work fine within an app based on Table1? I am just trying to pinpoint the area to focus on.
