Hi Mates,
Hope you`r doing Good..!
How to get active directly users .?
what is the connections that needs to be configure in powerapps to connect AD users..?
Example: there are two controls(TextBox and Button)
when enter AD ID in textbox
onselect (button) need to get active directory user details.
by any chance if we have steps to follow kindly paste referance URL or any screen shots please.
To Read the 'AAD User' table from dataverse, I don't think there's a way to do it without a premium connector. You could use http request rather than the dataverse connector, but I believe the license requirements for the http action is the same for the other premium connectors like dataverse.
Is there any other way to do this without using Microsoft Dataverse connector?
Thanks for the response @NHelgren . I did look at this article previously but it does require Microsoft Dataverse premium connector 😅
In our company, we are on Office 365 E3 License which does not include the Power Apps Premium connectors such as the Dataverse connector in that article. I was hoping to use the Azure AD Connector or any other connector that is included with our license to auto populate the fields with data from Azure Active Directory. Do correct me if I got anything wrong.
Hi @hasan-cahillgrp Check out the bottom of the blog post I did on this release. It shows how you can use the lookup to find the user name and then populate other fields with data based on that value. In my example I populated Job Title.
Manager data is still pending.
I do have the AD Connector and all the permissions. I am trying to get a searchable field in my PowerApps app where we can search a person from the Azure AD by name and upon selecting the person their other details get automatically filled up such as Job Title, Manager/Supervisor etc. using data from AD.
I was wondering if that is possible? I have been looking into it for weeks 😅
Search is a common request we are working on including.
I am looking for the same process as well. Instead of using the dataverse premium connector and instead of searching using AD User IDs can't I searching using by entering user name or surname or any name?
Yes, as noted below, there is now a Virtual Table in Dataverse to support this without any integration needed.

Can we able to get all Azure AD users list using PowerApps?
Thanks @dave-jorgensen I have submitted a note for the online docs to indicate this.
