Is there a way to AUTOSAVE a collection on app close?
I use a collection to manage the data from a SQL table (just add records). But patching every change is slow (new records must be added instantly), So I use a local collection and SYNC it:
Every x time
With 'SYNC' buttons, in 'OnSelect' event
In the 'OnHidden' event, when leaving the page.
I pack all data as a JSON and send to a stored procedure, so all changes (may be even hudreds of rows) are saved in a single transaction.
But... If the App CLOSES... Is there a way to force this sync?
I do not know of any way to do what you are asking. since the person can just kill the app at any time, you'd have to know to sync it when they come back online.
