Hi all,

I have an app for a Sharepoint list which is quite customised now and in hindsight I should have made the app from scratch instead of starting with the Sharepoint list default form.

However, changing it over is going to take some time and the app is live at the moment.

I have an issue where the Edit All and Save buttons are breaking some data due my use of lookup and patch within the app.

Is there anyway to intercept these buttons to do nothing? I know its not possible to remove them.

    hey @Scott_UK

do you mean the built in "buttons" on the top of the form? In the sharepointintegration in powerapps studio there is OnSave,OnEdit OnNew property, maybe you can put something there to disable the saving from there

maybe display a Message that the user have to use the buttons on the form itself instead of the ones above

Let me know if my answer helped solving your issue.

If it did please accept as solution and give it a thumbs up so we can help others in the community.

great i was able to help 🙂

my first "app" was a customized form too, got bigger and bigger haha, would not do it again and instead build a app itself and connect the list as a datasource lol
