A dialog is setup in the BotFrameworkComposer through PVC calling.
Intended function of the dialog is to:
1. display array of choice (using conversation.xxx for array and also choice)
2. taking input of choice, then switch to the corresponding Topic/Dialog
However, after the passing on the dialog for the first time, displaying the array properly and obtain the choice correctly, then, it does not display the array to allow the multiple choice again by calling it subsequently through connected topic/dialog. It is always switched to the branch of the 1st choice.
Appreciate for any advice.
I just went to the public review version, it seems that the Teams channel is not available yet.
On the other hand, please advise how I may "turn off" a multiple choice selection list after user has made a choice and the bot has directed to another topic which will also have a new set of multiple choice selection.
i.e.
Topic 01 > multiple choice list Alpha > direct to Topic 02
Topic 02 > multiple choice list Beta
After user choosing an option from Alpha, the bot will display Beta. How do I make the Alpha display dimmed so that user cannot go back to choose it?
Thanks peterswimm. Let me have a go for the public review. By the way, do you know where I can check the current version of PVA/BotFrameworkComposer that my system is running on?
Yea we default to the most flexible, and if you try the new public preview, you will find some more flexibility here for your use cases.
Correct. It's a question node. Thanks for pointing me to the direction. I have not yet fully comprehend "scope" relationship with those conversation, dialog, turn...etc...
I just copied the Example 2 (Display a multi-select options list in PVA) as I want a vertical menu (vs those horizontal ones in the PVA) and then adapting them to my program scenario. I thus used "conversation" naturally.
Not as straightforward.
Is this on a question node? Have you adjusted the scope of this to be per dialog, so if they leave they will be prompted again for the question?
