Power App for Teams asking for License

I've been struggling with one major thing as part of building apps for a Teams space, which is sharing it with colleagues.

To my understanding, Power Apps for Teams doesn't require a Power Apps Licence, however, when I share this app in a Teams channel, my colleague keeps getting prompted to 'Start a trial', whether that be within teams or when they try to open the app in the browser using 'Go to website'. This happens with apps built within Teams with no premium connectors, I even tried with a blank app with nothing in it and got the same result.

We use a 'Microsoft 365 A5 for faculty' licence, which includes 'Teams for Education'. I do wonder if this has an effect on the Power Apps for Teams usage.

Any feedback would be hugely appreciated.

I've encountered the same issue.  Have you found a solution?  I've tolerated the Power App team build environment to build this and not sure why my users are getting prompted for the license.

    Hi @Andy_Moyer,

Yes I worked with our Microsoft lisence admins and identifyed that the problem was that all users in the organisation would be required to be assigned to a group that has Power Apps for Teams added to it. I was unsuccessful in getting my oraganisation to agree to that as they had general security concerns and didn't have the time to look into any potential risks. However, we did test this with a small group of users and it solved the issue.

I hope you're able to get this enabled with your license admins for your organisation as the benefits are great.

Thank you @helloAndre .  I'm in preliminary testing, but that will help as I back out what may be a premium  connections in power automate.
