Form Information in the BODY of email

Good morning,

I'm having issue in trying to send value information of the form in my email.
What I would like to do is when I send an email, in the "Body" of the email I want to have the "First Name" and "Last Name" of the person who submitted the form.

Example:

Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(
    "new@outlook.com",
    "New Heat Customer Has Just Been Added",
    'First Name_DataCard1' & " " & 'Last Name_DataCard1' & " Has Just Completed The New Customer Form For Heat Group."
)
I have added 'First Name_DataCard1' .Update to both First Name and Last Name:

But now when I fill the form out:

NewberneData_1-1717686769941.png

And send an email, this is what I received:

NewberneData_2-1717686832337.png

Did I not write the formula correctly? Not sure why "UPDATE" isn't working.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi!

    Apologies, I missed in your earlier post that you submitted the form before sending the email - this is likely clearing the .Update value before the email sends.

    This should reference the values just submitted by the form:

    Form1.LastSubmit.FirstName & " " & Form1.LastSubmit.LastName & " Has Just Completed The New Customer Form For Heat Group."

    (You may have to change the exact column references in those to match)

    Let me know how it goes!

    Hi @NewberneData

    When you call SubmitForm, the contents of the data cards will clear which explains why the first and last names are not showing. You can resolve this by referencing the LastSubmit property of the form.

    Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(
     "new@outlook.com",
     "New Heat Customer Has Just Been Added",
     Form1.LastSubmit.Firstname & " " & Form1.LastSubmit.Lastname & " Has Just Completed The New Customer Form For Heat Group."
    )

    Thanks guys that worked perfectly!

    Appreciate your time for this.

    Last question if I wanted to put BOLD around the first and last name. All I need to do is put the in front and behind Form1.LastSubmit.Firstname?
    Example:
    Form1.lastSubmit.Firstname
