Hi all,

I am building an up using the scanner function. The first button the user presses is the scan.

I then want the navigate button to only become enabled after the can is complete.

Any help would be great.

TIA

You have a property called OnScan on the Scan Reader property and u«you can use it there. In there write:

    Navigate(NameOfTheScreen)

    thanks for the reply.

Yep that will take the user straight back to the home screen once the close the scan.

However i would like them to be brought back to the second screen as above and then use the separate button to navigate back.

It is this second button that i only want to become enabled after the scan is complete.

    Thanks again

You want to show a button, sorry.

On app OnStart write: Set(varAfterScan, "Disabled")

    And on scan write:

    Set(varAfterScan, "Edit")

On displaymode of the button write:

    varAfterScan

The button is disabled when you enter the app and it is editable after you scan, right?

Names and everything, is everything ok?
