Hello,
We were doing manual authentication configuration for our Copilot bot based on the below documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/configuration-authentication-azure-ad
I only missed defining a custom scope for the bot because I didn't know what to do in the Application ID URI:
After we completed the steps, we went to log in to test the bot and we faced the below issue:
“Application with identifier 'APPID' was not found in the directory 'TENANT'. This can happen if the application has not been installed by the administrator of the tenant or is consented to by any user in the tenant. You may have sent your authentication request to the wrong tenant.”
We have already consented to the API permissions and it is really strange why it is not
signing in?
Thank you!
I got this to work, the problem was possibly with tenant. After I logged in with company credentials (in Copilot Studio and Azure), problem was solved.
I have similiar error. Could someone kindly look into this? After authentication is done, I try to login to the chatbot via Login button.
Then it takes me to this, and I am not sure what to enter here, apparently our company's authentication, I try to open Microsoft Authentication app and provide number that get populized there, but every time I get this error message.
I would highly appreciate support 😃
Sounds right 🙂
Hi @adilei ,
Yes we were getting the error after clicking on "login". We have resolved the issue and the root cause was a wrong application ID used in the authentication setup in the PVA, including the secret key value.
Thank you!
Where are you getting this error? After clicking the "login" card during the conversation?
