Hi community,
I need a little help. I have a weird issue.
PowerApp details:
SharePoint form.
Form is using 2 columns.
Form has been split up into 6 "tabs" using buttons as tabs.
Specific cards are visible if a particular tab DisplayMode = Disabled.
Issue:
4 tabs show cards just fine. But 2 of the tabs show a blank spot in the top right position.
What I've tried:
I've tried adjusting the size of the form bigger and smaller. Incase it's a sizing bug. To no avail.
I've tried changing the number of columns. If it's set to 1 column the issue goes away. But 2 or more and the issue appears.
Not only is the issue visible in the editor. But when published to SharePoint the issue is visible when in use as well.
Picture of the issue:
Welcome to working with Forms in PowerApps 🙂 ... they are buggy as 😐
The first thing you could try is to look in your list of cards for a card that is NOT visible, like ever. It may be sitting between the first and second VISIBLE cards but still takes up a spot in your setup. If there is a card there, Send it to BACK. This may solve it?
Other things to try
- Toggle snap to columns On/Off, Note this will reset all card positions so don't do lightly if you've formatted your cards nicely already ...
- Try Unlocking all your cards individually. I find if I do this then changes I make tend to stick better. If I don't 'sometimes' after formatting my cards ie moving them, reshaping them, etc when I SAVE the cards will reset themselves ... very annoying
- Lastly, try saving then closing out of the Editor then go back in. This can sometimes reset the issue for you.
Good luck!
