Sharepoint List Choices into BrowseGallery text?

Hi all,

I am attempting to get the results of a Sharepoint list into a manageable BrowseScreen view.

The normal texts work fine, but responses that are part of choices are proving to be difficult. I would only like the Row’s choice from the list to be shown, and not all of the choices available. I’ve tried Concat(), Choices(), and First() commands. Not sure what else to do.

Thank you.

    Hi @guacomo - just to be clear, are you trying to display the multiple selected choices for each item in your SharePoint list into a Gallery?

    Yes, it is a Browse Gallery.

    The App has 3 screens: browse, detail, and edit. Detail and edit is able to display the choice fine, but not gallery. I’ve noticed that it is “Items” in the 2 screens that work, but “Text” in browse.

    @guacomo , to display multi choice field selections in a Gallery, insert a Label control into the Gallery and add the following into the Text property:

    Concat(ThisItem.'Your Multi Choice Column', Text(Value)&", ")

    Visual example:

    Hi @Amik .

    Thank you, but unfortunately I am getting the error message “ThisItem = This formula uses scope, which is not presently supported for evaluation. | Data type: Record”

    @guacomo , have you enabled multiple selections on your SharePoint field?

    Hi @Amik

    For the purpose of the project, I’d rather not have multiple selections enabled. Is this the only way for it to work?

    @guacomo

    I asked at the very beginning if you're trying to display multiple selected choices for each item in your SharePoint list into a Gallery and you said yes, but you would rather not have multiple selections enabled?

    Could you draw an example of the result your expecting in Excel for example, and then paste it as an image into this thread.

    At present, I have no idea what you want.

    Hi @Amik , you are right. I apologize, I misunderstood the original question.

    I provided a very bare bones example of the sharepoint data. It consists of days and the status of those days. The status of those days are a multiple choice option of "Incomplete", "Reviewed", "In progress", and "Complete". I would like for the browse gallery to display the multiple choice option associated with the day, not all of the choices. For example, the status for Day 1 will be shown as Incomplete, Day 3 as Reviewed, and Day 4 as In Progress, etc.

    Thank you again for your time and dedication. I again apologize for being very new to this.

    @guacomo,

    1. Insert a Blank Horizontal Gallery into your Screen and set the data source

    2. Insert a Label into the Gallery and set the Text property to ThisItem.'Your Day Column'

    3. Insert another Label into the Gallery and set the Text property to ThisItem.'Your Status Column'.Value
