YES/NO type column to YES/NO/NA column

Hi all,

Is it possible to change the YES/NO type column to YES/NO/NA type column in sharepoint list?

I have a yes/no type field radio button in powerapps form and I had set the items property to yes/no/na .. is there a way to change/replicate the yes/no/na in the sharepoint list?? or do I have to change the column type to something else??

Unfortunately you'll need to change it to a Choice column and then update the values in the SharePoint list to convert the existing values accordingly to "Yes" / "No". You can mass edit records in SharePoint at least. Then you'll need to update the control in Power Apps.

Hi @Heisshena ,

One other suggestion here - Choice columns are not really necessary unless you are using them directly in SharePoint (see this blog of mine) and have some limitations such as you cannot Sort by them nor use StartsWith() in a filter while maintaining Delegation. Change you field to a Text field and the Items of the Radio button to

["Yes","No","N/A"]

and the Update of the Data Card would be

RadioName.Selected.Value

@WarrenBelz Thank you so much, changing the fields to text field helped and its correctly filtering the Yes,No,N/A data 🙂
