How to select an item from a filtered data source on a FORM?

Hi,

 

I have a gallery in form1 where I select a Scenario. 

 

In form2 I have a form to edit all the items as part of the selected Scenario. I can add a fliter on the datasource connected to the form (same datasource as the gallery in form1). What I am not able to do is select the first item of this filtered datasource.

 

Any suggestions?

    Could you please clarify whether you have two data sources: Scenarios and ScenarioItems or just one?
    If just one, then is the Items property of Gallery1 a GroupBy of ScenarioItems?
