Message "User (C2) connections must use Azure Active Directory authentication" on Publish

For a few days now, I've been unable to publish my Copilot Studio agents that use Power Automate flows. This only happens to agents that don't use/use authentication.
I get the error:

[
{
"diagnosticResult": [
{
"$kind": "ElementValidationError",
"errorCode": "UserConnectionRequiresAuthentication",
"errorMessage": "User (C2) connections must use Azure Active Directory authentication."
}
],
"componentDisplayName": "Test",
"componentId": "e0f45144-db76-483a-8a95-362b5d8e6eea",
"diagnosticErrorCount": 1
}
]

Notes:
. The issue only occurs when authentication isn't used.
. The issue occurs when invoking any Power Automate flow from Copilot Studio.
. The problem occurs in any topic (not just "conversation improvement").
. I tested flows with and without parameters.
. I tested with existing agents and creating new ones.
. I also created a new flow that does nothing and doesn't receive parameters. Still, the problem persists.
In short: publishing from any agent only works if authentication is present, or if it isn't, the agent can't use any Power Automate flows.

    What is your configuration for the flows and tools/agent flows as it relates to authentication?

    Maker-provided credentials?
    End-User credentials?
    Re-Only settings?
    User authentication settings?

    Depending on these it will impact as if the Agent / Tool settings and or the Flow requires authentication then its going to require it, which is most of the time.

    If these suggestions help resolve your issue, Please consider Marking the answer as such and also maybe a like.

    Thank you!
    Sincerely, Michael Gernaey

    The copilot agent does not perform authentication (it is public). It invokes flows from Power Automate. As a test, I created a new flow that does nothing, it only receives the agent's request and responds. Even so, the error in publishing the agent occurs. Until last week it did not happen. There was no change in the agent. I imagine it could be some issue/bug in the Power Platform.

    MS will provide a fix on this.

    Known issue:
    https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support?serviceHealthId=PP1151711#service-health
    MS Current Status: Our investigation has identified that a recent service update introduced a code regression, which inadvertently marks valid agents as invalid, resulting in impact. We are preparing a fix that will be applied to the impacted infrastructure to mitigate the issue, following successful validations.

    This issue is related to Power automate flow, In power automate flow you will have one option 'Run-only user' then click on edit, in that check for connections used default option will be Provided by run-only user... Change that to the use this connection. Once it is saved refresh and try to publish.
