Today I wanted to edit data through Power Apps in Teams in a Table that has been installed through importing a solution. But the Edit Data button in disabled in the ribbon and in the context menu...? Custom tables created in the Teams Environment do have the button enabled. When I open the environment in make.powerapps.com the button is also disabled.
I couldn't find anything about this. Is this an issue at the moment, or is this here to stay? How can we now quickly edit data in Dataverse for Teams for tables imported through solutions?
Any idea's are welcome!
Yes, the table is otherwise usable as normal. I can even extend the table by adding unmanaged columns to it etc.. I just can't edit data from make.powerapps.com/Teams PowerApps UI.
The table I want to edit does contains configuration data, so there is no App that writes data to the table, only reading. We use this interface to just add the necessary configuration. It looks to me that the "edit data"-button should just be on...
...but the table is otherwise editable? I mean, you can add rows and update them from the app, you just can't do it from the make.powerapps UI?
Thanks for your reply @v-jefferni. It is indeed a managed solution, because we deploy it to customers. So I want it to be a managed solution. It wasn't any issue till very recently.
So while I'm sure that unmanaged solution would work, it is not really an option in my option.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Please check if it is a managed solution, if so, try and export as an unmanaged solution then import into Dataverse for Teams again.

Hope this helps.
