I have a 3 column layout newform in powerapps. I want to accommodate 4 columns for some of the related fields in a 3 column layout form.

Screenshot below. The one highlighted in grey should be accommodated in 4 columns

    Hi,

Is this a Model Driven Form or a Canvas App Form?

If its a Canvas App, I would remove the columning totally and just place the stuff how you want.

Hey you can also just Set in the form properties that you would like to use 12 columns

In the row where you would like to use 4 columns add in the width property of the DataCard this code
    Parent.Width/12*3
in the row where you want to have 3 this one :
    Parent.Width/12*4
    Since 12/4=3 and 12/3=4

But FLMike is right in a Canvas app you could also just place the fields on your screen and use Pacth() instead of SubmitForm().
Pacth() is a bit more complicated then SubmitForm if you're not used to it .
Here's the link for the Pacth function: Patch function - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn
