Patching to a SQL Table

Ok so fairly new to Power Apps. I am using a flow button to collect data and enter it into a SQL server table. All that is working great and next I made a gallery to show all of the items entered into the database. I added a delete button to the gallery that ties back to the database and will delete the record. Next I want to make it where once the arrow button is selected, it will take you to a detail page that will also allow you to edit the data.  I believe I have all of that figured out as well to allow editing. Next I would like to be able to click the confirm button and patch the selected gallery items back to the SQL table. Am I looking at this the wrong way? I know patch was working fine when I was just using the built in collection in lieu of SQL table.

I was thinking maybe it had to do with my inputs? For inputs I was using a mixture of combo boxes and drop downs and now with the edit page I have it all in text only form.
