Importing component library into a solution in different environment

Hi Community,

I experience an odd behaviour of PowerApps solution at the moment.

I have created a component library in environment A and now I want to import it into a solution in environment B as this is apparently the recommended way of moving component library across environments. However, when I try to add an existing component library to my solution I get a message that no objects were found. To make it even weirder, I used to be able to choose that component library before but it's not available anymore. I made sure that component library is not included into my solution already as well as republished the library again etc. but nothing seems to work.

Would anyone know what may be the problem as I have run out of options and I had spent a lot of time building that component library that I can't use for apps in different environments?

Any help much appreciated.

WJ

    Hello @janiszewskiw ,

    Can you try doing this?

    1. exporting component as a solution from Environment A
    2. import the solution from Step 1 as a solution to Environment B
    3. import the component to your specific solution.

    Thank you @cha_cha,

This is exactly what I have done as a workaround which at least let me reuse these components in a different environment, however they are now disconnected from a source component library so if there are any changes made I need to keep checking for them manually and re-importing the component solution to bring them through.

    Thanking you for your reply.
