I have a situation where Team A is using Dynamics 365 Sales professional. They are daily using entities like contact, account and opportunities.
Now, there has come a new Team B in my company which does not need the full CRM functionality, instead a Power App (Model driven) that includes contact, account, opportunity and a few custom entities would be enough here.
Have I understood the licensing correct that it´s OK that users in Team B "only" requires a Power Apps license?
(Since the above entities are not included in the restricted list here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/data-platform/data-platform-restricted-entities)
From a licensing perspective, is it OK t
As long as the entities Team B is accessing are not on the restricted list then yes, the only license they need is either a Per app or Per user license. The Per App license covers up to two related apps per user and the Per User license covers an unlimited number of apps.
