Hi all,
I have a start date for a promotion enitity and I want the start date converted into a weeknumber in another field in my entity called Start Week.
So when the user selects a date I want the field Start week to be updated
How can I accomplish this ?

If you want to implement this without any code, please try to use calculated field.
1. create a new Date field named FirstDay to store the first day of the Year
2. create a Business rule to set the Default Date of FirstDay field, set the condition that are easy to implement, for example:
3. Open Calculation, set the Action as follows:
