Hey everyone,

I have a powerapp where it's possible for the user to download their bills, this happens from a custom component pdf viewer, with the download function its only possible when youre on the web app. On mobile the launch function seems to try to open the pdf but then gives an error saying it can't be opened.

I am using Download(ThisItem.AbsoluteUri) and have tried Launch(ThisItem.AbsoluteUri) but nothing seems to work..

Is there anyone that can tell me how to do this?

Thanks in advance

    Hi @BurrickY ,

My users open PDF files all day with Launch(ThisItem.AbsoluteUri)  (they launch in a browser) on mobile apps (iPads) - you might check the file validity The Download function on a mobile app (see this MS Document) is dependent on the device browser settings (although I have never been able to get it to work).

    Hi @WarrenBelz,

    Thanks for your reply!

After some messing around with my settings I finally found my issue.

My device tried to open the pdf in my Google Drive instead of my browser because apparently I had set my open pdf settings to always automatically open through Google Drive.
