Hi there,

I'm looking for a way to add my company's Privacy Policy link to each Power App.

I found a setting that allows to integrate a custom Privacy Policy for each environment in the Admin Center, under Settings > Product > Privacy + Security > Privacy Statement URL:

Once I activate the option, put a custom URL and save, I cannot find the URL anywhere in the environment or apps.

Any idea how (and if) this setting works?

@CU24015039 Hi,

once you define it. You can check :

for modern driven app, on the top right ,

for canvas app. you can find similar setting with power app installation ( you have use an user account to check that). otherwise it lead you to Microsoft privacy statement, not the organization's.

Hi,

Use a Label or Icon as a Privacy Link

Add a Label or Icon to the footer of your app screen:

Insert > Label

Text: Privacy Policy

OnSelect property:

Launch("https://yourcompany.com/privacy")

Style it as a footer link.

Use a Tooltip or Info Button

Insert an Info Icon:

Tooltip: Click here to view our Privacy Policy

OnSelect:

Launch("https://yourcompany.com/privacy")

Add a Terms and Privacy Screen

Create a dedicated screen:

Show your Privacy Policy content or an embedded PDF viewer.

Provide navigation from the home screen (e.g., an “About” or “Legal” button).

Do you know where to find the Privacy Policy link for canvas apps? All the links at the bottom redirect to the MS privacy policy. I'm system customizer of the environment and owner of the app. Only the users of the app can see the custom privacy policy?

Yes, only the user account can check that.

otherwise it lead you to Microsoft privacy statement, not the one you defined.

For Canvas app ( install the app in windows store, if use windows), check the settings on the right top of the main windows. you will find the link.

for mobile device, the settings is on the account setting( Home button).

@stampcoin thank for the information ! I'm testing with a user account in an environment where I'm app maker, but the app doesn't show the custom link in the lateral menu in the browser.

Does this feature only work for canvas apps that are opened in the Windows app or the mobile app? What about apps that are opened with a web browser?
