Hello,
I have a PVA bot and the answers contain links. I have integrated the bot into teams. Hyperlinks that are stored directly in the topics (using markup) work in the preview version in the editor but not in Teams.
Hyperlinks in answers sent via the Azure Question Answering Service work without any problems.
It would be great to get help with this.
Many greetingsCathi
Hey @Caddy1
When returning the message are using language markup like
[Link Text](Link URL)
Hallo @alaabitar, thank you for your answer. I did the exact same thing, but it only worked in virtaul agent editor. I did change nothing but somehow it ist working know. Strange but I think the problem is solved now 🙂
Hey
Were you able to figure out what the solution was or how it worked? I am having the exact same issue, works in the editor but not in the actual app/chat.
The same is happening for me. I have used the syntax as explained. While testing in the editor, the hyperlink comes in just fine and clickable. However, within teams, the message component that has the hyperlink is completely skipped for some reason. Anyone else have this issue and resolved it?
For those experiencing the issue, are there spaces in the hyperlink by chance?
No, there are no spaces. However, I noticed that the URLs to webpages started working on their own. I did nothing to fix it. The problem that remains is, hyperlinks with email addresses still don't work in the live environment. They work just fine in the editor and open outlook on clicking, but not in the live environment.
I am inclined to think that the system is definitely buggy. Why else would all links not work initially, and then some start working all of a sudden without any changes made. And why would hyperlinks with email addresses launch outlook in the test environment but not in live.
Have you been able to make it work?
No. There are no spaces. I think mine is a bigger problem than the link not showing up. It's the entire segment of the flow that gets omitted all together whether I have just text or a Hyperlink. The chatbot goes through the flow and skips over the one I modified and goes to the next element of the flow. Like, it ignores it all together. I do not have anything configured to skip it. It happens on anything I modify. Once I make a modification, that step gets ignored after publishing it. I thought it was a hyperlink issue but it's not. Everything works as expected in the test chatbot. Just not in Teams. No posts seem to have a fix/resolution for it.
