Hello,
I am trying to deploy a solution into a customer's environment, but it appears that some network settings stop make.PowerApps from pulling the user permissions correctly. Using the customer's network, I can't even access the managed solution, and the page shows the error "User has no assigned roles", despite the account having admin access to the entire Power Platform. Casting around the forums doesn't give any clue as to why user permissions would be different using different networks.
Accessing the Canvas app in the solution without using a VPN gives errors like saying that there is a network error when trying to access dataverse tables, despite being connected to the internet. However, if I use my company's VPN I can access the solution, I can run the Canvas app with no issues. Clearly there is some network function preventing user roles from pulling user permissions. Has anyone seen this issue before? The IT department I am working with doesn't see any obvious signs that the network is blocking any make.powerapps functions. Any help would be appreciated!
without VPN - Default solution list does not load and says that the user has no assigned roles, despite being logged into the admin account.
With a VPN the default solutions load correctly
The solution to this required the customer to add a few exceptions to the firewall. After running the app on the customer's network several powerapps related sites were being blocked causing the behavior described above. If anyone has this issue refer to this document to see the different sites that need to be unblocked for PowerApps to function properly.
