Hi everyone im trying to build a secure login form, but when i try to use = to compare password even though my password in my list is aAaA and my entry is aaaa or AAAA still gives me the correct result. i used to try exactin with same password in my list and my entry is aAaAaaa, still gives me the correct result.

Set(Authorized,LookUp('FCMIS User Account', 'Email Address' exactin User().Email And Password exactin txtPassword.Text, {UserID: 'ID Number', NoOfRetry: 'No. of Retry'}));

    Hi,

    Replace exactin with the = operator for a case-sensitive comparison:

    Set(
        Authorized,
        LookUp(
            'FCMIS User Account',
            'Email Address' = User().Email & Password = txtPassword.Text,
            {
                UserID: 'ID Number',
                NoOfRetry: 'No. of Retry'
            }
        )
    );

    The = operator performs a case-sensitive comparison, so it will only return true if the email and password match exactly, including the case.

    Why are trying to create a secured login form when authentication is already built in? Other than that, comparing passwords in text is not a secure method of managing passwords.
