Hi All,
I have a button called Upload excel, when it is selected the user must be able to attach a file and the attached file should be visible in the gallery with the contents.
Is there any way to do this?
Hi @Uthhra ,
Could you please share more details about your scenario? What's the data source of Gallery? What would you like to do with the attached Excel files?
If you would like to add attached Excel files to the same data source as Gallery Items, you need to copy an Attachment control from an Edit form and paste it in Gallery. But I doubt this would make the Attachment control not easy to use, because the Gallery templates in your screen seems shallow for only single line of texts.
Best regards,
@v-jefferni
When the button is clicked I need to attach file and the values in the file should be displayed in the gallery. I am not using any form. Normally how do we attach file from the local storage the same way must must work.
What do you mean by values in the file should be displayed in the gallery? If you want to extract contents from attached excel files, I'm afraid it's not possible in PowerApps.
Best rergards
I have attached a screenshot of my excel file. Likewise when the user clicks the button it must allow to select the file and display the contents into the gallery.
