Hi all,
I'm building a Custom Copilot using Microsoft Copilot Studio that is integrated with Dataverse and deployed both on the web and in Microsoft Teams.
I would like to implement a session timeout mechanism where:
Ends the session and resets the conversation,
Prompts the user with a message like: "It looks like you've been away. Would you like to continue or start over?"
I'm aware that Copilot Studio doesn't support background timers or native timeout settings, but is there any workaround ?
The goal is to avoid holding on to stale session context when the user has been idle for too long.
Has anyone successfully implemented something like this, or does Microsoft plan to support such a feature natively?
Thanks in advance!
