I have an update, but it's not from Microsoft (they still haven't responded to my questions or request to escalate this issue).
While cooling my heels waiting for the v-dash to respond I kept doing some troubleshooting to try and narrow down the issue.
- I created a free brand new Dev sandbox tenant on M365 (https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/dev-program ).
- I logged into the tenant and created a brand new Power App from scratch - same exact behavior (Loading... with the spinning icon).
What this told me is:
- It's not a licensing issue (because this is a totally different tenant and user account)
- It's not a Microsoft Power Apps Service issue (or other users would be reporting outages)
- It must be either my PC or something on my network
I went into the settings of my corporate laptop, disabled the VPN connection (NetMotion Mobility Client 12.50.20203), tried editing the new Power App on the new Dev tenant and boom, it worked. Next I logged into my regular corporate M365 tenant and tried editing an existing Power App - that worked as well. So, as long as I am disconnected from the VPN everything on make.powerapps.com works fine for me. 😕
Leaving my corporate VPN disabled isn't a viable long term solution, obviously - I need access to resources on the LAN. But now I know, in my situation at least, that it's something with either my corporate VPN, firewall, or some network configuration. Hopefully Microsoft will respond to my open ticket at some point and be able to give a more accurate answer after reviewing the Fiddler network trace I sent them.
So, hopefully my troubleshooting and temporary workaround will help other folks in their troubleshooting efforts. I'll respond to this thread after Microsoft responds.
