Hi,
I have successfully integration SharePoint online with my dataverse environment. My questions is regarding the security of the documents in SharePoint library. It seems that I have to manage who can access (read or write) directly in SharePoint either manaully or through flow. is that right?
I was hoping that the security for integrated SharePoint library will be managed using the same security that is applied to the records of the entity
Any help is appreciated
Thanks
Nishant
Hi @Anonymous ,
The security for the SharePoint documents is not tied to the Dataverse security so yes, you need to handle this separately as you identified. Neal discusses some of the details here (https://neilparkhurst.com/2017/09/13/mb2-715-certification-microsoft-dynamics-365-customer-engagement-online-deployment-sharepoint-integration/)
Hope this helps. Please accept if answers your question or Like if helps in any way.
Thanks,
Drew
Hello @Anonymous,
Adding to @dpoggemann comments, if you are owner of the record, you can create a Document and based on your access of records you can view the document, but we cannot control in viewing the document that need to be configure in SharePoint side.

Hey @Anonymous ,
Need a help please,
I see your post mentioning successfully connected SP with DataVerse, may I know how you did that, please.
Reason being is, I wanted to build a SPFX SPA with Dataverse, not sure where and how to start and how the authentication works?
Any thoughts please.
