We want to send direct messages to our user who have the bot installed on Team. We have used power automate flows with the action "Post Message in chat or channel". We need to send message to over 2000 users sometimes and we have issues with flow limits. Is there another way that we can send these messages?
Is graph API or Azure functions an option? I would appreciate any documentation or videos of how to achieve this.
Are these all the people from the business? If that is the case couldn't you just use an organization wide team and post a single message to that channel instead and at-mention the channel.
This way everybody gets a notification and you are only posting a single message (one HTTP request instead of 2000 HTTP requests).
Or do you have a specific requirement to send a direct message instead?
If you need to send this as a direct message and in the context of the bot another way to avoid this is looking at the Power Automate plans you are using. You might be able to purchase one with higher limits? Which one are you currently using?
