Hi,

Currently I am using a SharePoint site which uses data from SharePoint list and Project Server. I am also using Power BI Embedded. I am planning to move to Power Apps Platform. Should i create a Canvas app or Model driven app or Power apps Portal?

Thanks in advance.

Re: What is the difference between Canvas App , Model driven app and Power apps Portal
    • A canvas App will give you the ability to create the full user interface for your application. An experience similar to creating forms in InfoPath.  You place interface elements on a canvas and then wire them up to display data.
    • A model driven app is more stylized and is based on data that is stored in the Common Data Service (CDS). You don't have the same level of control over the look of the user interface that you do in a canvas App.
    • The Power Apps portal is a web site that you can use to surface Apps as web pages.

If you are using SharePoint, Project and Power BI I think you'll start out with Canvas apps and perhaps eventually move to the Portal. Unless you want to put data in CDS you wouldn't be using model driven at this point.
