Printing something like a label style

Hi there, Question for the new printing fuctionality?

Let's say I have a gallery where the user select a record. the vales for the selected record are displayed in a flexible gallery like a 4*3 label. Now that is a preview of the data.

I would like to print that preview but in a full page Letter size.

If I add an icon with the print() function I am getting my entire app page.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

thanks.

There is a tutorial I posted few weeks ago:

    https://youtu.be/oNvx8OHBV94

It follows along your request, only ensure that the Print size is Portrait instead of POS paper size as described in the tutorial.

Hey @eka24 thank you very much for the video. Great video BTW. It covers most of my inquiries. however I would like to print the label dynamically from the same screen instead of navigate to a different screen. Please see the bellow picture. I just need to print the Flexible gallery

    Thanks in advance

Am not sure if I fully understand your request.

However, if it about changing the Print Screen size, insert  Checkbox on the printscreen and Create a Variable as:

    OnCheck:  Set(varWidth,600); Set(varHeight,900)
    OnUnCheck:  Set(varWidth,790);Set(varHeight,1123)

    Visible of the Checkbox :Not(Parent.Printing)

    PrintScreen Width: varWidth
    PrintScreen Height: varHeight

Ticking the checkbox before printing would change the size.

Hi, sorry for the confusion. Let me try to explain better:

As you can see in the picture I have a gallery that represents the label that I want to print. Now if I insert a print icon with the Onselect = Print() it will print my screen. What I want is to print that gallery/label but in a letter size.

    Regards

    @sajarac

The print function is pretty much a print screen function.  So, printing direct controls to a printer is not available like I believe you are looking for.

So as mentioned by @eka24 you really need to have a screen you want to print with the content the way you want in order to utilize the function.  Getting sizes and such correct is usually the challenge and especially so with labels.

I have not watched it, but Shane Young did a video on printing direct to labels, barcodes, etc. that might be worth a look.

I hope this is helpful for you.
