I formatted my sharepoint list entry form very slightly (hint text change). I saved it in PA and in my sharepoint I can now see my new entry form which works as it should. However, if I now add another column in my sharepoint list the form does not update anymore automatically as it would otherwise (if it wasn't modified with PA). I now need to go to PA for each separate change that I make in my sharepoint list. Can this be avoided?
Hi @li88li ,
No - Power apps does not know (or assume) you want to add the new field in any particular place - you need to add it where it is needed.

Yes but I only want what is already supported by SP Lists. If I don't customize form, upon adding new field, new filed is also shown in form. Impossible to have both (customized hint text and basic SP functionality)?
hello @li88li you would also need to reconnect your sharepoint list to power automate.
Can you be more specific how this can be done?
@li88li ,
Unless I have totally mid-read your post, this is nothing to do with Power Automate. My understanding is that you have allowed Power Apps to create a SharePoint Integrated form automatically and when you add a new field to SharePoint, it is not present in the Power Apps form. That is correct - you have to Edit the form and add it (in fact if you have a large number of fields in SharePoint, they will not all be created when the Power Apps Form is initially created). There is no reason you cannot change the HIntText (or InputTextPlaceholder on some controls) on any one of them - what is it that you cannot do?
The problem is my Sharepoint list is used by users who are very weak as far as any advanced usage gets (they never heard about PA for example). However, they need to add a column every so often. I would like to customise initial SP list form with PA and then leave further changes (adding fields) to them. The number of lists is too vast for me to check and add fields in PA every time they add a column in SP.
Your only option is to stick with the standard SharePoint form - the Power App Integrated Form needs to be edited to add any elements (or make any changes).
Just checking if you got the result you were looking for on this thread. Happy to help further if not.
