[BUG] Solution Packager when Pack

Our instance used the new feature Column Power-Fx

When we manually export then import to other instances it ok.

+ When we used Solution Packager to unpack the zip files, we saw the new in the Entities\xxxx\Formulas\yyyy-FormulaDefinitions.yaml file.

+ When we used Solution Packager to pack to folder (Azure DevOps), to solution files, the file *.yaml NOT include in the .zip file

And then when we import, we get the error:

Attribute import: FormulaDefinition file is missing from import zip file: FileName: /Formulas/yyyy-FormulaDefinitions.yaml</Message>

I think this is a bug from Solution Packager 🙂

I have the same question (0)

I don't know whether there is a relationship between Microsoft Power Platform CLI and SolutionPackager and whether this has been resolved (and perhaps reintroduced) in SolutionPackager, but a work-around is to use Power Platform CLI version 1.20.3. See discussion here.

I recently faced this exact same issue and it turns out that I was using an older version of Microsoft.CrmSdk.Coretools package. Although the yaml file was present in Formula folder inside the entity at the time of unpack, the Solution Packager didn't add it in the final packed solution upon Pack command because the Coretools version was old and probably didn't support the packing of PowerFx formula field columns. Updating the above-mentioned package to the latest version fixed the issue for me and I was able to import the solution successfully.
