How do I add new column in CDM via excel or import excel spreadsheet as new entity?

    Hi Amit,

     

    In this first update, you have to use the browser to create/update columns of an entity. We plan to add options to import schema changes in the future.

    Thanks Karthik. This will be really helpful to migrate old clunky databases/sp lists with large schema as we do maintain excel files for schemas and I can just migrate these when this feature gets enabled.

    Karthik this is fantastic, very much excited about the possibilities. For ISVs like us, we would appreciate a programmatic way of creating Entities and more importantly modifying them after they are in Production (upgrades/fixes,etc.) It'd be great to have PowerShell or an API similar to the SharePoint List creation/modification APIs for remote provisioning of Entities, Relationships, default data, etc...
