Hi there,

New to PVA and I have this silly question?

If I have a share point with multiple columns i.e UserName, DeviceID, Location. And my bot user want to know about any equipment status and he only knows the user name. Can this info be retrieved by the bot? and also any updated can be patched to my record from the bot?

BTW, the username can be in many devices.

Yes. You would need to build a power automate cloud flow. Ask the user in the chat bot, what user name they want to look for then pass that value to the cloud flow.

get list items in Sharepoint and then pass those values back to power virtual agents topic.

Hey @Monkeyman, thank you very much for your prompt response. I did it and I was able to retrieve the result in my bot. Whoever because I am sending back the result in a HTML table I am getting a messy table with all the <tags> on it.

Do you know how to return the results in a nice format?

the reason why I am asking this is because just in case the result are a a couple of records. I would like those records organized in the chatbot answer.

Use a create html table step and pass the information in there, then send that result back as the value to PVA.

If I have helped you with this, please mark my first solution as accepted.

    Thanks !
