I want to hide the delete button based on certain conditions.

I'm trying to use the the new command bar to do this

But while code /powerfx can be attached to custom buttons,

the options to add code/powerfx are greyed out completely for the existing buttons like new edit delete etc in the new command bar customisation. I was hoping to use this new command bar and avoid using ribbon workbench

@Rutu01 - yes but you will still require Ribbon Workbench to load the javascript function into a Custom Rule.

@Rutu01 -

Although it is possible to modify customs button using Power FX, it is not possible yet to hide out of the box buttons without Ribbon workbench.
