Hi,

Please share me the steps to create custom/dynamic table in dataverse table from canvas app.

I have a requirement wherein there will be a form where user can enter column names and click of submit button, table should be dynamically created in dataverse table (please check the attached document for the same).

Request you guide me as soon as possible.

Hi,

It has to be done via HTTP(s) Calls. It is not something you can do directly from a model or canvas app. Also, if the user in the App doesn't have permission to modify/create etc tables it won't work.

Can you tell me where is thIS HTTPs calls/Web API needs to be created.?
Do i have to create this in Power Apps for creating dynamic table.?

I don't know if it is possibile to make an http request inside a canvas app. A solution could be to create a power automate flow with the trigger PowerApps V2 related to a button. When you click the button on the canvas, the power automate flow make the http request and create dynamically the new fields

Hi,

It is, you would click the Data section, then in the Get Data, click on Connectors and add the HTTP Connector to your Canvas App.

Most connectors can be used in your Canvas Apps without the need of Power Automate flows.

Hi,

I provided you a link in my response. I am not sure what you mean Web API created. You can make the HTTP calls in a Flow, in a Canvas App, in a Model Driven App, and any other programming language that supports making authenticated HTTP(S) calls.
